From 2D to 3D
From a flat plan to a 3D model
Every drawing starts as lines on a sheet. We lift the walls, openings and grids into a model, so each one is checked in three dimensions before it reaches site.
- Drawing sheetPlan, grids and dimensions set out to the title block.
- PerspectiveThe sheet tilts, so the plan reads as a space.
- ExtrusionWalls rise from the plan lines, with openings left at the doors.
- CheckA scan pass confirms every wall, opening and grid line.

How we work
From your drawings to handover
Drawings and scope received
You send the tender or approved drawings, specifications and any site markups on WhatsApp or email.

Drafting with internal checks
Drawings are prepared to your layers and standards, then checked by a second engineer.
Review and revisions
Consultant comments are incorporated and the drawings resubmitted until they are approved.
Handover in native formats
You receive DWG and PDF files, with RVT or IFC where needed, and a drawing register.

In their words
What our clients say
First connected with CBG in late 2021 and never looked back. They've supported us with shop drawings, as-built drawings and building quantities for two years, with a strong grasp of the Qatari market and standards.
Jihad AliManaging Director, Manta Maraghi Trading & Contracting We've been engaging CBG for MEP drafting for a while now. Their costs are very reasonable and improve our margins greatly. The team always delivers on schedule and is responsive — it feels like having employees in-house.
Mohamed FayasSales Manager, Equipe Trading & Contracting Co. CBG has supported us with structural design, shop drawing and BOQ requirements across our past few projects. It has been a great experience and we look forward to having them onboard for future projects.

Shop Drawings & As-Built Drawings · Questions
Straight answers
What is the difference between shop drawings and as-built drawings?
Shop drawings show how a contractor will fabricate or install an element before work starts. As-built drawings record what was actually built, including site changes. We prepare both for architectural, structural, MEP, civil, steel and joinery works.
Which disciplines do your shop drawings cover?
All of them: architectural, structural, MEP, civil and infrastructure, steel, and joinery and fit-out. One team prepares the sets, so the trades are coordinated on the same drawings and the consultant receives a consistent submission.
Do you prepare coordination and builder's work drawings?
Yes. We prepare combined services drawings and builder's work drawings that show sleeves, openings, plinths and chases against the structure. Trades are coordinated before installation. Where a BIM model exists, we derive the sheets from it.
Can you convert PDF or scanned drawings to CAD?
Yes. We redraw PDF, paper and scanned drawings as clean, layered DWG files at true scale, ready for editing, shop drawing production or as-built updates. Send the files on WhatsApp and tell us the layer standard you need.
Which standards and countries do you work to?
We follow the local standards of the project's country plus accepted international practice. That includes QCS and Ashghal in Qatar, SBC in Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi requirements in the UAE, and NBC and IS codes in India, with ISO 128, BS 8888 and ACI 315 for drawing and detailing practice.
How do I get a quote for shop drawings?
Send your drawings and scope on WhatsApp at +974 7048 5638. Tell us the disciplines, the consultant's submission requirements and the file formats you need. We review them and reply with a quote.
