Quantity Surveying · Questions

Straight answers

What quantity surveying services does CBG provide?

CBG provides the full quantity surveying scope: BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, tender documents, rate analysis, valuations, variations, final accounts and bar bending schedules. We also prepare programmes and cash-flow forecasts in Primavera P6. We support contractors, developers and consultants at any stage, from tender to final account.

Which countries and measurement standards do you work to?

We work on projects in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman and India, and measure to the standard your contract calls for. That means POMI, CESMM4, RICS NRM1 and NRM2, or IS 1200 in India, with contract documents aligned to FIDIC and local requirements such as QCS in Qatar.

Can you prepare a BOQ from drawings alone?

Yes. Send PDF or CAD drawings, with the specification if you have it, and we prepare the BOQ and take-off from them. Where information is missing, we list our assumptions and raise queries so that the pricing basis is clear to everyone.

Do you support contractors after award, with valuations and variations?

Yes. We prepare interim valuations, payment applications, variation pricing, claims support, subcontractor billing and final accounts. The work is measured against the contract and the drawings, so the records are ready if the client or consultant asks for backup.

What formats do you deliver in?

We deliver Excel and PDF as standard, and can work in your own BOQ template or contract format. Take-off workings, programmes and cash-flow sheets are handed over in the formats you need, so your team can edit and reuse them.

How do I get a quote for quantity surveying?

Send your drawings and scope on WhatsApp to +974 7048 5638. We review them, confirm what is included and the measurement standard, and send you a quote. You can also email info@carbonblueglobal.com.
